Review
Cars is a wonderful game based on the PIXAR film of the same name, in which you play with the characters of the movie and accept races or challenges to progress the story, with the ultimate goal of competing in numerous "Piston Cup" races. The gameplay is based on simple controls offering the possibility of jumping off the ground and pull off a number of moves as a bonus. However, this is not a problem as the game is thought for kids, and it do offers a great deal of entertainment for them. As the story progresses, players will be able to unlock boost abilities and new scenarios to race in, as well as multiple mini-games. The graphics and sound effects are great, and it offers amazing environments. The game offers two game modes: a main story mode, which will keep you playing for a long long time, and also an arcade mode in which you can replay any of the races or mini-games at your leisure. All in all, If you’re looking for a simple and cute game for kids, Cars is a success. However, if you are looking for a solid racer, you should definitely look somewhere else. |
